Kraft paper / board The unbleached or natural Kraft paperboard is coated with a thin layer of kaolin clay to improve the printing surface. Kraft paperboard is also coated with polyethylene resin for wet strength food packaging. This paper is used to manufacture paper handled shopping bags and is also used for ice cream cartons.
